If you were to research “Intercept barrier packaging products”, you would find many different options. Intercept Packaging Ingenuity at EASTEC 2013

Posted by Elaine Spitz on May 23, 2013 10:07:00 PM

We were energized during our time as exhibitors at EASTEC 2013 in Springfield, MA, last week. Building 3 of the facility was abuzz with innovation. Interested attendees, asking all the right questions, flooded the floor for all three days, including representatives from small and large manufacturers, local and international companies. The show truly lived up to it's tagline "human ingenuity, manufacturing brilliance". If you're involved in industry in the Northeast, or want to be, we recommend you get involved with EASTEC, sponsored by SME.

Packaging Responsibility

Posted by Elaine Spitz on Jul 8, 2012 10:48:00 PM

I follow the writings of marketing whiz Chris Brogan on a regular basis. Chris calls one phase of his business "Human Business Works", a title which resonates greatly with the way we think at Liberty Packaging. It's about doing what we can to help the customer and his or her business thrive. There are many like-minded folks in the business world whom we're delighted to count as colleagues and customers - they, too, feel the responsibility.

Packaging with the Diva

Posted by Elaine Spitz on Jul 13, 2011 6:59:00 AM

Bringing a new product to market requires a great idea that fulfills a need, as well as the perfect packaging to convey your message in succinct and appealing fashion to your target audience. Given the plethora of vendors, materials, design options, legislation, and environmental issues to be considered,  packaging a product can be a daunting and expensive task. The value of experience to achieve success cannot be minimized.

Does Corrosion Keep You Awake? EASTEC 2011

Posted by Elaine Spitz on May 24, 2011 11:52:00 AM

We spent three days on the trade show floor at EASTEC 2011 last week and had a blast. EASTEC is hosted by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and is the largest manufacturing trade show on the East Coast. It was the most fun I've ever had at an event like this. Our philosophy on trade shows is that attendees are there to learn about new products, machinery, techniques, and procedures. We, as an exhibitor, are there to ask questions of those who may have challenges with corrosion or ESD and want a new oil-free and environmentally safe solution with packaging.

Reliability and Quality on My Team

Posted by Elaine Spitz on Apr 5, 2011 4:07:00 AM

The title does not refer to my beloved Red Sox, but to my own home team at Liberty Packaging.

We've finally launched our new Liberty Packaging Co., Inc., website - this project (like many home repairs) was a little more involved than initially expected but the results are spectacular. Our initial plan was revised moderately as we progressed and we're grateful for the beautiful design work of our long-time web and graphic designer, Steve Parrish, of Parrish Design. Steve did all the heavy lifting and provided the appropriate guidance and hand-holding for us to complete our homework assignments, providing him with the content required to finish the job. Steve is a reliable member of our team and has been almost since we started Liberty Packaging.
